Manage all aspects of the legal defense of workers' compensation cases from initiation through resolutionConduct discovery and handle litigation proceedingsCollaborate with insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators on case management and strategyMaintain proactive case management to meet client needs and deadlinesDraft and file legal documents and briefs as necessaryRequirements
2-5+ years of experience in workers' compensation defenseStrong research, analytical, and negotiation skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsCommitment to proactive and effective case managementFamiliarity with Merus software is preferred but not requiredProficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Teams is preferred but not requiredEducation
