Job Requirements ICU RN 221013425 Open Heart Trained Schedule Information 13 Weeks Every other Weekend/Holiday Shifts & Scheduling: 0630-1830, 1830-0630 // Self scheduling for core staff, travelers added in. Unable to guarantee block scheduling Weekend Requirements: Every other Holiday Requirements: Rotating based on weekend group Floating Requirements: Typically to PCU, possibly to MedSurg How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 3 shifts Unit Specific Information Department: ICU RN Types of patients include adults and pediatrics with conditions such as sepsis, post-stent, pacemaker placement, stroke, vascular cases, renal failure, heart failure, and respiratory distress. Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Any cardiac drip, insulin, sedation Shifts: 0630-1830, 1830-0630 Additional Details WILL NOT APPROVE BLOCKED SCHEDULING OR SAME SCHEDULE/SHIFTS, MUST BE FLEXIBLE AND WILLING TO FLOAT AND WORK WHEN NEEDED of Beds: 33 beds, average daily census is 16 Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2-3 for adults, 1:2-4 for Peds Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults and Pediatrics, sepsis, post-stent, pacemaker placement, stroke, vascular cases, renal failure, heart failure, respiratory distress Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Any cardiac drip, insulin, sedation Health Support Tech M-F 0800-1630 RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.): Nasal cannula to vent RNs required to read and interpret Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
