BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB
In collaboration with the Department of Pharmacy leadership, organizes and coordinates various operations to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Facilitates communication between patients and the pharmacy. Schedules patients for pharmacists visits in eligible locations. Coordinates invoice processes for the department of pharmacy, record keeping requirements for accrediting organizations, and assistance with department activities.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Strong organizational skills. Strong computer based skills to include microsoft office, outlook, and other word processing programs. Basic financial understanding for invoice processing. Good communication skills, both verbal and written with staff and providers. Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail a plus. Evidence of this includes, but is not limited to, effective communication, skills and abilities to deal well with people, ability to problem solve, confront/resolve issues, and motivate others, ability to plan, organize, and direct the activities of others. Strong critical thinking skills. Troubleshooting issues before escalating to management a strong asset. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains knowledge in all areas of pharmacy administrative functions, including billing, collections, and medical record maintenance by being involved in front line activities. Builds, coordinates, and maintains schedules in collaboration with pharmacy leaders to include patient visits with pharmacists. Coordinate interdepartment and external meetings. Records minutes and develop official reports from various meetings. Oversees medical record process to ensure records are processed in a timely manner. Coordinates chart prep for new and established patients prior to arrival. Ensures compliance of patient charts with required regulatory agencies. Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends. Registers new patients in computer and updates information on existing patients. Assists in the preparation of department reports; including but not limited to regulatory requirements, license updates, and physical copies of required information. Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment. Collaborates with Credentialing Department to ensure all provider requirements remain active and accurate. Works with Director of Pharmacy to assure quality services and promote positive employee relations. Conducts all work activities with respect for rights and wishes of patients, visitors, families, and fellow employees. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Medium lifting, pushing and pulling is required for 20-50 lbs occasionally, 10-20 pounds frequently and 10 lbs constantly to move objects. Sudden emergency situations have the potential for exposure for lifting or moving of up to 100 lbs. Frequent bending, walking, sitting, squatting, reaching, and standing are required. Keyboard/computer use and/or repetitive motions may be required.
