IT System Administrator/ Charlotte, NC

Are you a skilled Systems/Network Administrator looking for an exciting on-site opportunity in Charlotte, NC? Our client, a growing investment company in the Charlotte area, is seeking a mid-level professional to join their team full-time. In this role, you'll work with a mix of Windows and Network environments, supporting both the network and system administration sides of the business, and helping drive continuous improvements in network infrastructure and server management.This position is with a Charlotte based Investment firm. The company is looking for a proactive problem solver who's eager to expand their skills across diverse platforms.

Required Skills & Experience

3-5 years of experience in systems and network administrationProficiency in Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 and Red Hat LinuxStrong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy managementExperience with network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewallsFamiliarity with virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V)Solid troubleshooting skills and experience in a fast-paced environmentDesired Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fieldCertifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or CCNAKnowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell or BashPrevious experience in a similar industry or mid-sized companyWhat You Will Be Doing
