Job Summary
The HRIS Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system specifically related to human resources functions. This role will support HR processes including payroll, benefits administration, employee records management, and reporting. The specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries and will collaborate with various departments to ensure effective use of the system. This position will develop and deploy the human capital management, and create effective business workflows to various departments.
Key Responsibilities
• System Management: Maintain and configure the ERP human capital management modules, ensuring data integrity and compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
• Process Improvement: Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency.
• Data Management and Maintenance: Oversee accurate data entry for employee records, including hiring, terminations, promotions, and changes in employment status.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports from the ERP system to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to HR staff and other departments on ERP HR functions and best practices.
• Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of HR processes, procedures, and system configurations.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Management or a related field preferred. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
Experience:
o Minimum of 4 years' experience in HR or HRIS roles.
o Experience with MUNIS ERP system is highly preferred.
Skills:
o Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRIS software.
o Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate reports and interpret data.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
