GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Executive Administrative Assistant for Missions and Adult Ministries is responsible for directing and executing administrative tasks connected with the ministries of Missions and Adult Ministry. This position will help implement the vision of Missions and Adult Ministries by overseeing the tactical execution of initiatives and programs. This position will also be mindful of and take initiative with ways in which Missions and Adult Ministries can collaborate on various projects and initiatives. This position will primarily work directly with the Missions and Adult Ministries Pastors but will support both departments' mission and ministries.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESProficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written, with a diverse group of people in a variety of situations including, but not limited to, different cultures and people and departments within the church.Heart for missions: Ability to handle details and a desire for reaching the lost and taking God's redemptive message of love to the world.Heart for discipleship: Ability to handle details and a desire for growing adults on their lifelong discipleship journey.Well organized with good time management and project management abilities.Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain healthy and motivating relationships with supervisors, coworkers, servants, and ministry partners.Ability to manage, administrate, juggle multiple projects well. Ability to take projects from ideas to execution, to maintain the big picture and drive the details.Understand, accept, and embrace a diversity of cultures and peoples.Systems and process minded to effectively and efficiently execute details with excellence.Excels in doing ministry as a team.DUTIESWork closely with Missions Pastor to provide administrative support for Missions strategy, including making travel arrangements for staff and teams, helping manage the logistics of mission teams, working on special projects (i.e. missionary flip book, missions week, etc.) and fielding requests from missionaries and partners (building use, financial requests, documentation needs, etc.).Work closely with Adult Ministries Pastor to provide administrative support for the AMT strategy, including coordinating and support events, managing and maintaining groups, providing budget assistance for AMT pastors, and coordinating the AMT Sunday calendar.Work closely with Missions and Adult Ministries to maintain proper procedures and processes in Ministry Platform, ESpace, GoMethod, Ramp, Sign Up Genius, Monday.com, and other tactical software platforms.Work with Missions and AMT to arrange and facilitate catering for various events.Sit in Missions Lead Team meetings to take notes, create a summary, and note any action items from the meeting.Help establish and maintain all Missions policy documentation.SPIRITUAL GIFTS
