Job Description
Our client has continued to grow their multifamily housing portfolio and is looking for a talented Senior Analyst / Associate to perform detailed financial analysis and modeling for acquisitions and multifamily development projects. The Senior Analyst / Associate will manage underwriting models, evaluate market data, identify risks, and perform ad hoc analyses for senior leaders. Other responsibilities:
Maintain and run financial models on acquisitions and/or multifamily development opportunities using DCF Models or other similar financial tools in Excel.Support the acquisitions process in underwriting, coordinating due diligence, and facilitating pre-construction effortsEvaluate research data and produce real time valuationConsolidate, analyze and model financial data including budget analysis and income statement forecasting.Create investment memos /packages for the firm's Investment Committee.Prepare and present reporting to executives and committees as neededMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate must have the following:
Undergrad degree with at least 5 years of experience in Real Estate, Finance, or Investments with exceptional Excel modeling skills.Advanced degree (e.g. MBA, MRED etc) or advanced certification (e.g. CFA, REFM) a plus.Experience sourcing and underwriting multifamily development projects a plus.Skilled communicator- written and verbalDesire to work in a fast paced environment with minimal over siteMust be able to juggle multiple tasks at once with strict deadlinesMust be self motivated with a "can do" attitudeWhat's on Offer
My client offers the following benefit package:
Competitive base salary + bonus, depending on experience the role will roughly pay $100,000 - $140,000PTO and company holidaysInternal training program and senior mentorshipHealth care coverageOpportunity to work from home 2 days a week.
