Job Description
Arcadis is in search of a seller/Do-er that will report to our US Living Practice Group Managers. This person will have proven leadership skills and is motived to grow the Living practice across the USA. The individual must have extensive knowledge and experience within the national multi-family residential, hospitality, and student housing architecture market. Key responsibilities include leadership through growth in new business, being an active contributor to the US strategy and driving its outward facing activity to elevate the brand in the marketplace.
Role accountabilities:
The ideal candidate for the position should possess a combination of leadership skills and expertise in the multi-family residential/ hospitality sector to lead a dynamic team effectively and deliver compelling client presentations. Their adept problem-solving abilities and strong interpersonal skills are pivotal in fostering productive relationships with clients and colleagues alike. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate proficiency in managing multiple project pursuits simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and conveying complex ideas succinctly.
This role will require 30% US specific travel.
You will work on:Responsible for developing, in conjunction with Global Practice Group Director, Living Market Strategists and USA Practice Group Managers, the business development strategy on an annual basis to achieve growth.Responsible for the communication and delivery of the outward facing strategy across the USA.Sets business development targets for the living market in conjunction with the Practice Group Managers in the USAWorks collaboratively with USA Practice Group managers, and our global Growth team to develop marking and business development strategies to win new work.Leads health team in developing effective client capture plans and pre-marketing strategies.Develops and nurtures strong relationships with key clients, both existing and new.Develops business case, fee strategies and risk assessment in support of go-no-go reviews in conjunction with local healthcare Practice Group Managers.Leads living team and marketing support in pursuits, including the analysis and responses of RFQs and RFP's, proposal writing, interview presentation strategies, messaging, and team preparations for winning interviews.Drives strategy and content for external marketing communications, including special initiatives, external and internal events, conference speaking abstracts, media relationships, social media, design awards, etc.Increases awareness and exposure of Arcadis's living practice to our clients and the profession locally and within the countryDemonstrates leadership by participating in professional organizations, activities, and services that further Arcadis's vision and values.Implements Global and National growth strategy in the marketplace.Mentors, advises, and nurtures the current and future leaders across our living studios creating a 'redundancy' in key client relationships.Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Degree in Architecture or in a related field15+ years of architecture healthcare experienceKnowledge of the multi-family/ hospitality market and growth practicesPreferred Qualifications
Professional registrationAdvanced credentialing such as EDACKnowledge of sustainable principles and LEED accreditation
Additional Information
The salary range for this position is $117,000 - $189,000/year.
