Our organization delivers innovative solutions to clients in the ag industry - partnering with companies in the seed research industry to design and build custom planters, harvesters, and seed processing technology for the seed research industry, and providing them with superior service to support their equipment in the field.

As a Regional Sales Manager , you'll work as part of a sales team, supporting our customers to grow the business. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, service, engineering, and manufacturing.

You will be a trusted expert, partnering with our clients to determine what equipment, customizations, and innovative solutions can advance their business goals. You will develop and maintain relationships, collaborate on custom equipment solutions, negotiate, and successfully close each sale.

This is a full-time position with flexible day-shift hours. Work can be completed remotely from your home office or on-site at our headquarters in central Iowa, with required travel to customer sites throughout the United States. The territory is flexible, dependent on the candidate location and business need.

The territory for this position is flexible based on candidate location and may cover either Midwest, Southeast, or Eastern portion of the United State

You are experienced in building strong relationships with customers to close sales.You are goal focused with passionate commitment to sale success.You have worked cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and service teams to ensure order accuracy and client delight.You have sold capital equipment or custom-engineered solutions.You have experience in ag equipment, construction equipment or other heavy machinery.You understand agricultural practices including equipment used in growing corn and soybeans.Job Requirements:

Successful professional experience in sales.Experience with sales process and knowledge of effective techniques.Attend trade shows and represent ALMACO at trade association meetings.The ability to travel up to 60%.Valid driver's license and driving record that would meet our insurance requirements.Preferred Experience:

Experience with capital sales, including agricultural equipment, construction equipment, or other large-scale equipment is preferred.Experience with seed research or the agricultural industry is preferred.Experience selling customized equipment is preferred.Benefits include:
