Your Opportunity
Help us drive the ultimate student experience in the US Northeast region! We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Consultant focused on Future Talent (TACFT) to join our growing campus recruiting team at Stantec. Our team is fast-paced, innovative, and focused on driving a campus recruiting strategy that will position our business for long-term success. This role can be based in any of our US Northeast office locations with flexibility to work from home.
Your Key Responsibilities
Support the full life-cycle Talent Acquisition process for undergraduate campus recruitment for internships and co-ops
Initiate job postings on both internal and external sites and implement the processes to attract and recruit the very best talent to Stantec
Update clients (hiring managers, HR business partners or colleagues) on progress through the campus recruiting life cycle
Be an enthusiastic advocate for students and early career talent at Stantec
Provide university relations support and strategic consultation to the business
Support campus event coordination and collateral, including career fair event logistics, spend tracking, inventory management, and display maintenance
Support development and distribution of campus program materials
Work closely with HR client service partners to support intern programming, driving intern-to-full-time conversions throughout the year
Collaborate with key stakeholders across HR Talent and Client Services to deliver an effective candidate to employee experience
Perform other duties of a similar nature as assigned
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Fundamental understanding of campus recruiting best practices, processes, timelines, event management and early talent market in the United States
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work with a sense of urgency to complete tasks and meet deadlines in a high-volume operation
Excellent relationship building skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work cooperatively with various stakeholders in a complex environment
A strong team player, comfortable with collaborating and supporting others during fluctuating workloads
Strong listening skills with ability to translate issues into actionable solutions
Aptitude for technology. Yello, Handshake, Symplicity, and other early talent recruiting software experience (ATS, CRM, university job board) experience is preferred
Ability to organize and deliver virtual and in-person events for a student audience
Ability to handle confidential information and sensitive data
Experience with social media and talent brand is an asset
Ability to navigate large matrixed organization and identify stakeholders
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to adapt to different communication styles and present important information to various audiences
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field
Minimum of 2 years' experience in campus and university recruiting or full-cycle recruitment
Knowledge of state and/or provincial hiring standards
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.

Benefits Summary:
Regular full-time and part-time employees have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).
Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
