Job Overview:
A law firm specializing in complex litigation seeks a highly experienced Litigation Of Counsel to join its Seattle office. The ideal candidate will have extensive litigation experience, preferably including product liability and complex commercial litigation, focusing on the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.Duties:Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, business professionals, and third parties.Supervise and mentor associates in case management and legal strategy.Collaborate with experts to develop case theories and strategies.Assist development through research, document review, and depositions.Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and legal memoranda.Contribute to case strategy development and implementation.Requirements:Minimum of 8+ years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.Expertise in product liability and complex commercial litigation.Experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries is advantageous.Strong analytical and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.Excellent organizational abilities and sound business judgment.Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment.Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, including persuasive communication.Proven research, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills.Management experience, with the ability to influence others effectively.JD degree from a nationally recognized law school.Strong academic credentials.Education and Certifications:JD degree from an accredited law school.Admission to practice law in New York.Admission to practice in Washington state (WA).Skills:Exceptional oral and written communication skills.Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Conceptual thinking and ability to develop persuasive legal arguments.Effective management and mentorship skills.Ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality work under pressure.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.Location:
