Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking a highly experienced Litigation Of Counsel to join its team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in product liability and complex commercial litigation, with a preference for those who have practiced at AmLaw 100 firms. The role involves supervising associates, collaborating with experts, and contributing to case strategy development.Duties:Communicate verbally and in writing with clients, lawyers, and third parties.Supervise and mentor associates on case matters.Work closely with experts in relevant fields.Assist in fact development and conduct depositions.Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.Maintain responsive communication via phone calls and correspondence.Adhere to firm policies and meet deadlines consistently.Engage in both physical and sedentary activities as required by the job.Requirements:Minimum 8+ years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.Extensive background in product liability and complex commercial litigation.Experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is advantageous.Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail.Good business judgment and organizational abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Effective research and problem-solving abilities.Conceptual thinking and ability to influence others persuasively.Demonstrated management skills.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Strong academic credentials from nationally recognized institutions.Preferred additional degrees: MD, MPH, PharmD, or Epidemiology.Candidates licensed to practice law in New York are encouraged to apply.Must be admitted to practice in North Carolina.Company Info:
