This position directs personnel and plans the programmatic needs of the following sections within Vehicle Services:
Customer Contact Center (Bladen County and Rocky Mount)
Field Operations Support Help Desk
Liability Insurance Unit
Renewals, Titles and Plates Unit
Quality Assurance Unit
Scan Unit
The position also manages, plans, tracks, and monitors Vehicle Services projects and legislative mandates from conception through implementation; Collaborate with stakeholders, internal resources, and third parties/vendors for the execution of project and project related goals.
The position collaborates on strategic planning with internal and external stakeholders to determine the needs of Vehicle Services units through gathering and analyzing data, including trending analysis to determine the feasibility, functionality, logistical and financial considerations needed to make programmatic recommendations.
The position uses data to analyze internal processes and market research information to assist the Director with making strategic decisions, implementing best practices to increase organizational productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
The position creates business process mapping for the units assigned to alleviate redundancy in the workflow and create efficiencies that positively impact operations. This position consults with subject matter experts to conduct Gap analysis and assess operations to determine the root cause of issues.

Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with departmental personnel, officials and the general public.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an appropriately accredited institution and five (5) years of progressively experience related to the area of assignment, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
