Description
Summary ObjectiveThe purpose of this position is to provide general coordination of departmental activities essential to the operation, deployment, and inventory and asset management. Conducts maintenance, repair and security of the voting system and all related components. Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of the voting system and of the election results. Responsibilities may vary depending on assignment. This class works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences.Examples of Duties
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSThe essential functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the class as necessary.Coordinates ongoing physical and technical maintenance and upkeep of the voting system.Monitors and documents voting equipment performance to detect errors, evaluate errors to determine root causes, identifies and implements correct solutions, and adjusts equipment as necessary to resume and maintain proper operations.Retains and manages licenses, warranties and service agreements for all equipment.Provides customer service to internal and external customers; addresses and resolves customer questions as able and refers complex inquiries, requests, or complaints to appropriate staff.Performs administrative support related to voter registration system; composes routine correspondence; proofreads and edits; enters, scans, updates, and maintains information om spreadsheets, databases, and reports; sorts, copies, and distributes a variety of correspondence.Monitors and maintains the inventory system of warehouse supplies for all polling location materials, supplies, and components, and, accounts for the accurate and secure return following each election.Assists with supply orders ensuring proper inventory; compiles and prepares orders for election materials and supplies for polling locations.Maintains and updates street address system to ensure voter's correct district information.Processes invoices for accounts payable.Processes voter registration applications and updates voter information.During elections prepare and distribute election supplies for all precincts to ensure precincts have necessary for operation.Manages the online voter registration queue, assists with registration and updates addresses.Performs related work as assigned.Typical Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
