JOB SUMMARY

The primary purpose of this position is to build sustainable market position by the identification, development, negotiation and closing of key, impactful accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES In concert with the Director of Business Development, participates in the development and execution of a strategic business plan Assists in the development and implementation of key account and preferred account management plans along with their goals and objectives. Monitors and adjusts business development plans to maintain key accounts and expedite growth activities. Oversees and maintains the eSales pipeline to maximize opportunity efficiencies. Maximize time in the field to expedite the closure of target accounts and maintain key account relationships. Review and approve the business analyses of key accounts before implementation of action steps by sellers. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining business networks and participating in professional organizations. Meets annual margin goals and executes the closure of impactful business opportunities. Demonstrates and supports effective communication with all Hydrite departments and applicable personnel to ensure success of the "B.D" team as well as the Industrial team. Uphold Hydrite's Standard of Excellence through a continuous commitment to maintain quality facilities and provide quality products and services to internal and external customers Perform all duties outlined in relevant SOPs and all other duties to be assigned. Participate in RCRA, regulatory, health & safety and process training activities as required. Review changes/additions with your supervisor. Must be RCRA compliant. Works with other staff members to maintain workload balances. Provides back-up support as necessary/directed. Supports effective communication with all Hydrite departments where responsibilities overlap to ensure success of the branch team. REPORTING STRUCTURE

This position reports to the Director of Business Development EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL CRITERIA

Four-year college degree with prior specialty chemical sales experience required Must have a proven track record of new business development within industrial customers selling chemicals. Must have a strong desire to succeed and be extremely proficient at identifying key targets and driving those opportunities to closure. Must have a strong ability to develop trust and rapport with external and internal customers. Must be an effective communicator and possess interpersonal skills, Must have a valid driver's license. Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to sit and work at a computer terminal, and/or talk on the telephone up to 4 hours at a time. Ability to travel to customers and stay overnight when necessary. Ability to drive or sit in a car up to 7 hours at a time. BENEFITS
