Worrell Yeung is a Brooklyn-based architecture and design studio drawing inspiration from the familiar to realize experientially rich, unique buildings and spaces. Our elemental approach is deployed to blend conceptual clarity with qualitative complexity. We design across project types and scales, including residential, commercial, civic, cultural, and adaptive reuse. We are currently working on a range of projects—art spaces, private residences, agricultural education centers, a ceremonial space/visitor pavilion and hospitality retreats—each an opportunity to create work that is essential and highly tailored to meet our client’s functional requirements while also considering a project’s longevity and adaptability to future needs and purposes.We are seeking a Junior Architect / Interior Designer to join our team to lead the interior design for several residential projects. Working closely, and collaboratively with our team, this individual will be responsible for developing design concepts, producing drawings/renderings for presentation, specifying materials/products and managing and overseeing all aspects of the projects from design through installation.Candidates for this position should be well-organized with exceptional design skills, strong verbal and graphic communication skills, with an enthusiasm to contribute to the strong design dialogue and collaborative team environment of the office.Qualifications:2-3 Years experience in high-end custom residential or hospitality design in the New York City area

Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or Interior Architecture

Ability to provide sourcing, pricing, ordering, and tracking decorative furniture, drapery, accessories and art for multiple projects

Assist design teams with meeting preparation and onsite installation and decorative styling

Generate custom furniture and millwork drawings

Experience with NYC building and ADA codes

Knowledge of FF+E selections, schedules and specification processes

Excellent organizational and communication skills dealing with clients, contractors, consultants and vendors

Exceptional skills in Studio Designer, AutoCAD, Rhino/Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite
