VP of Growth & Demand Generation

We are searching for a VP of Growth & Demand Generation to lead digital demand generation, field marketing, global events, and partner marketing teams. Reporting to the CMO, this role will be responsible for driving global demand generation and ABM strategies that boost our pipeline, new customer acquisition, and create expansion opportunities. You will lead a team, own pipeline targets, manage digital channels, develop field marketing strategies, oversee global events, and collaborate with partners for campaign goals. The ideal candidate has a strong background leading a breadth of lead generation strategies within the AI space.
Responsibilities:
- Demand Creation Strategy: Develop and execute a demand creation strategy that is both Enterprise and PLG segments, resulting in increased brand awareness, lead generation, and pipeline growth.
- Demand Generation: Design and implement demand generation campaigns across multiple channels, including digital marketing, content marketing, event marketing, and account-based marketing, to drive lead generation and conversions. Manage digital demand generation channels including SEM, paid social, webinars, sponsorships, SEO, and integrated campaigns.
- Marketing Automation: Develop and implement marketing automation strategies to streamline lead generation, nurturing, and conversion processes, maximizing efficiency and ROI.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to drive pipeline growth, acquire new customers, and drive cross-sell/upsell opportunities.
- Budget Management: Effectively allocate resources within budget to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance metrics, including lead generation, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and revenue growth, to measure the effectiveness of demand creation and demand generation efforts. Cultivate a culture of continuous testing and optimization to improve channel performance and ROI.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, and Customer Success, to ensure alignment and effective execution of growth strategies. Coordinate with marketing teams to ensure consistent branding and targeted messaging.
- Industry Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market research to guide growth strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Chief Marketing Officer and other stakeholders on demand creation and generation performance, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Innovation: Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve demand creation and generation strategies, leveraging new technologies, channels, and tactics to stay ahead of the competition.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of growth marketing and/or demand generation experience.
- 5+ years of experience working in the B2B technology space.
- 2+ years of leadership experience in enterprise marketing with a track record of building and executing multi-channel go-to-market plans.
- Demonstrated success managing a results-oriented demand generation team.
- Strategic thinker with excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to drive pipeline growth and lead generation.
- Strong project management skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Results-oriented with a collaborative and customer-focused mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the AI/ML space.
- Experience working in a rapid-growth startup environment.
Annual Salary Range and Level: The base salary for this position ranges from $250k per year up to $325k per year. This range is based on role, level, and location and reflects the salary target for new hires in the US. Individual pay within the range will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s job-related qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. This role also includes a variable component based on direct sales.
