Cycle Counter

1st Shift - 7am-3:30pm Catania Oils, a rapidly growing family-owned and operated packager, and processor of edible, plant-based oils, is expanding its facility in Ayer, MA. Conveniently located near major routes 495 and Route 2, we seek dedicated Cycle Counters to support our increasing inventory of products.As a Cycle Counter, you will play a vital role in maintaining high inventory accuracy and integrity. You will perform regular cycle counts and lead the count process for both buildings. Your keen attention to detail will help identify, communicate, and resolve any issues discovered during the cycle count process. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to continuous improvement efforts within your area of responsibility.Responsibilities :Utilize ERP or WMS system to conduct daily cycle counts as directed by manager/supervisor.Research, analyze, and promptly communicate count issues to supervision, expediting resolution and determining root causes for process improvement.Assist in reconciling production materials after each run.Utilize a forklift or pallet jack to retrieve materials for counts.Participate in annual or periodic physical inventory counts.Support inventory-related projects that impact overall costing.Monitor and expedite customer credit for returned merchandise authorizations (RMA/RGA).Assist in documenting defective materials.Contribute to the dispositioning of obsolete or soon-to-expire materials.Perform inventory adjustments for stock reconciliation, reidentification, etc.RequirementsHigh School diploma.3-5 years of experience in distribution, warehousing, or inventory management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Proficiency in PC software/tools for reporting, analysis, and auditing (e.g., MS Outlook, Word, Excel).Strong verbal and written communication skills.Good mathematical skills.Regular and punctual attendance.Forklift driving experience.Ability to lift or stack cases to 50 lbs.Ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the day.Join our dynamic team at Catania Oils and be part of our exciting growth journey.
