Data Support Specialist
to support our government client, onsite, in
Alexandria, VA . Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance, have a bachelor's degree, and be analytical thinkers in order to report findings to senior leadership.Essential FunctionsPerforming data analysis for both the customer and contract team for daily reportsUploading analytic, policy, program, background, and legislative information internal repositories of relevantManaging the database mining in response to taskers.Providing input to reports and products including memos, talking point, and briefing materialsMaintaining situational awareness of DHS related events, incidents, and threats and ensuring team is always aware of these effortsSupporting the Watch as needed if staffing requires assistanceUnderstanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the clientDemonstrating a commitment to quality and customer supportMinimum Experience & SkillsBachelor's degreeFive or more years of professional experienceAbility to obtain a secret clearanceAbility to obtain a DHS SuitabilityProficiency with the applications in the Microsoft Suite with advance skills in Microsoft ExcelExperience utilizing TableauProficiency with Microsoft Office applications including, Outlook to include shared calendars, scheduling, and organization Experience utilizing Adobe to create, edit, and manage PDF files
