We specialize in designing, installing, and maintaining state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment to ensure our clients achieve optimal efficiency and product quality.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering professional to join our team as an Automation Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining manufacturing equipment in food plants across various locations. This role requires extensive travel (70% of the time) to client sites to ensure seamless installation and operation of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and test automation systems in food manufacturing plants.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automation equipment.Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored solutions.Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure equipment operates at peak performance.Train plant personnel on the proper use and maintenance of automation systems.Document all installation and maintenance activities accurately.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.0+ years of experience required. Will look at new gradsKnowledge in automation engineering, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI design, and SCADA systems.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Willingness to travel extensively (70% of the time). The remainder of the time, this individual will work in the corporate office located in Chicago.
