Quality Engineering Intern

JOB RESPONSIBILITIESInspecting work instructionsRepairing process work instructionsConducting work station auditsTooling design for processing new aircraft components through repairPreparing inspection reports for customer reviewReviewing OEM technical data revision statusUploading documents into business online technical libraryOrganizing electronic and physical filesUpdating quality databases/reportsReviewing customer escapes and complaints, quality work packages, scrap and rework and recordsUtilizing quality tools in order to identify root cause and mistake proofing, in order to reduce and eliminate customer escapesInvestigating defective material and customer returned material in order to help reduce defects and prevent customer escapes
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTSStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a manufacturing environmentAbility to schedule and organize time and tasks effectivelyAbility to work in a challenging and schedule driven environmentPrevious experience working with power/hand tools and measurement devices a plus
Education Requirements:High school diploma or GED requiredCurrently enrolled in an accredited college/university as a rising junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
