Hydrogen Project Manager
is a high-level position focused on strategic growth and customer acquisition in the hydrogen sector, particularly within the utility and industrial markets. You would manage the entire project lifecycle for hydrogen projects, from planning through execution, working with senior decision-makers and internal teams to meet financial and regulatory goals.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Business Development
Focus on securing large-scale commercial hydrogen opportunities in utility and industrial sectors.
Customer Acquisition
Lead efforts to acquire new customers, delivering tailored hydrogen solutions.
Project Management
Oversee project lifecycles, ensuring alignment with financial, regulatory, and performance objectives.
Relationship Building
Maintain relationships with senior stakeholders in utilities and industrial firms.
Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams (engineering, sales, operations) to deliver value and execute complex projects.
Industry Insights
Monitor industry trends and integrate them into strategic planning.
Commercial Negotiations
Provide strategic and technical input during negotiations.
Requirements:Experience
10+ years in project management or enterprise sales, ideally in energy, hydrogen, or industrial gases.
Proven Track Record
Experience managing multimillion-dollar projects or securing large contracts (over $10M).
Network
A strong network of senior-level contacts in utilities or industrial markets.
Skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
Leadership
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel.
Preferred Qualifications:Sector Experience
Experience in hydrogen production, industrial gases, or energy decarbonization.
Education
Advanced degree in engineering, business, or related technical fields.
Certifications
PMP certification or similar project management credentials.
