Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Superintendent/Foreman to oversee and manage daily on-site operations for our residential renovation projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of residential construction processes, a hands-on approach, and the ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:On-Site Management:
Supervise and coordinate all on-site activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.Team Leadership:
Lead and manage a team of skilled tradespeople, subcontractors, and laborers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.Quality Assurance:
Monitor all work to ensure it meets company quality standards and client expectations, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly.Safety Oversight:
Enforce all safety regulations and protocols on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.Schedule Coordination:
Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of work.Client Interaction:
Work closely with clients to ensure their vision is being realized, addressing any concerns and providing regular progress updates.Problem-Solving:
Quickly identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, minimizing delays and maintaining project momentum.Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, and any changes to the scope of work.
Qualifications:Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent, Foreman, or similar role in residential construction, with a focus on residential new construction and remodels.
Skills:Strong leadership and team management abilitiesExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsIn-depth knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and best practicesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and construction plansStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenProficiency in construction management software and tools is a plus
