Essential Job FunctionsAs a key member of the Firmwide Legal Recruiting & Development Department, the Firmwide Legal Recruiting Specialist will support our campus recruiting initiatives across all locations. This role will collaborate closely with various offices and departments to ensure a seamless and effective recruiting process.
Key ResponsibilitiesOn-Campus RecruitingCollaborate with colleagues across offices to identify and implement best practices in recruiting.Prepare and analyze reports and statistical data related to recruiting efforts.Schedule and coordinate screening and callback interviews for candidates.Gather and track interview feedback from attorneys.Maintain and update school information charts, including contacts, important dates, and transcript requirements.Plan and attend recruitment events and initiatives.Prepare and analyze post-recruiting surveys for law students.Support local office recruiting teams with outreach and engagement efforts.Campus OutreachPlan and coordinate outreach initiatives for law schools, including panels, presentations, and networking events.Manage sponsorship requests from student organizations.Set up and monitor events using recruiting platforms.Partner with marketing to keep campus engagement materials updated.Collect and analyze post-event feedback from attorneys and participants.Other ResponsibilitiesDelegate tasks to coordinators and assistants as needed.Train team coordinators, assistants, and interns on recruiting processes and tools.Maintain timelines for recruiting events and projects.Update team documentation and communications regularly.Respond to inquiries from attorneys and staff in a timely and courteous manner.Utilize survey tools to gather feedback and insights from stakeholders.Provide support for Summer Associate Program and other recruiting initiatives.Actively engage with clients and internal teams, contributing knowledge and expertise as needed.
Qualifications & RequirementsEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s degree required.5+ years of experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.Strong oral and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with respect.Collaborative team player with a strong client service orientation and the ability to work independently.Familiarity with recruiting software and tools (e.g., Symplicity, Flo Recruit, ViDesktop) preferred.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
