We are seeking a dedicated Trust & Estates Attorney to join our legal team. The successful candidate will provide legal counsel and representation in matters related to estate planning, trust administration, wills, probate, tax planning, and related areas.The attorney will work closely with clients to craft estate plans, manage estate administration, and ensure the transfer of assets aligns with clients' wishes while minimizing tax burdens and other complications.Key Responsibilities:Draft and revise estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.Guide clients through the probate process, including estate administration and asset distribution.Provide counsel on minimizing estate and gift taxes and advising on tax-efficient strategies.Collaborate with financial planners, accountants, and other advisors to create comprehensive estate plans.Handle trust administration, including trust modifications, distributions, and compliance.Represent clients in court for probate-related disputes or litigation.Stay informed about changes in estate law, tax law, and relevant court rulings.Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law in Colorado.Experience: 3 years of experience in trust and estates law.In-depth knowledge of federal and state laws governing estates, trusts, and tax planning.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong client management skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.Preferred Qualifications:
LL.M. in Taxation or a related field.Experience with high-net-worth clients.Familiarity with estate litigation.Compensation:
