Overview:As a
Heavy Equipment Maintenance Lead , you'll play a pivotal role in keeping our clients state-of-the-art recycling facility running smoothly. This dynamic role offers an opportunity to showcase your expertise in maintaining and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment, from heavy mobile machinery to intricate conveyor systems. Job Responsibilities:Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment, conveyors, balers, shredders, and other industrial recycling machinery to minimize downtime and optimize performance.Collaborate with managers, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate extensive repairs and ensure seamless operations.Perform comprehensive repair work, including hydraulic, electronic/electrical, mechanical, and basic fabrication tasks, as well as preventive maintenance.Meticulously document repairs and maintenance activities through detailed work order reports.Identify and source necessary parts and equipment replacements, leveraging computer and internet resources.Demonstrate versatility by working in various positions, including kneeling, bending, crouching, and operating elevated lifts for extended periods.Prioritize safety by adhering to all safety requirements and leading by example in promoting a safe work environment.Embrace a culture of continuous improvement by providing and receiving constructive feedback for coaching and development.Exhibit flexibility to work various shifts as needed to support operational requirements.
Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in industrial troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of heavy equipment or in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.Proven ability to balance team and individual responsibilities while building consensus.Unwavering commitment to integrity, ethical conduct, and upholding organizational values.Possession of personal basic hand tools.Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Valid state driver's license.Bilingual proficiency is preferred.
