What you will be doing:Using CANalyzer & PCAN for system monitoring, diagnostics and test article controlUtilizing digital multi-meters and other tools to build and diagnose harnesses issuesWork with test benches, test cells and prototypes to troubleshoot electrical/harness issuesWorking with high voltageCreate test reportsReview test findings along with potential solutionsGenerating needed artifacts per the engineering phaseDrive best harness design practices
What you'll need to be successful:
Essential:Strong background in instrumentation & harness building for signal communication especially CAN networks with a working knowledge of CANalyzer & PCAN for system monitoring, diagnostics, and test article controlExperience with test cell and workshop environmentsHigh voltage experienceEnjoy a fast paced and dynamic work environment2 plus years of experienceHumble, teachable, and solve their own problemsEffective and collaborative team playerGood communicator – written and verbalMS office suit solid knowledge is required.Great collaborator
Preferred:Battery EV vehicle and systemsProduct Safety and Compliance experienceCreo Parametric CAD experienceCreo Schematics experienceAVL test equipment and test environments is a bonus, but someone who understands test environments like Lab View, Cyflex, etc and is willing to learn a new environment would do wellPDM Windchill or Polarion experienceExperience with troubleshooting engine or vehicle electrical systems
