Position: Division President – Production Homebuilder
Location: Orlando, FL
Must have production and public homebuilding experience!
Responsibilities:
Oversee multiple departments in homebuilding operations (Land, Sales, Construction, Purchasing, Warranty, etc.)Maximize profits by establishing and executing business plansPartner with senior leaders to achieve forecasts and ensure customer excellenceIdentify and negotiate purchases of new communitiesEstablish strategic partnerships with Brokers and Land SellersSupport short- and long-range financial development and management of the divisionEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulationsProvide regular reports to the corporate officeSupport talent acquisition, employee development, and retentionMaintain professional affiliations and stay updated on industry trendsMaintain positive reputation within the community and engage with government officials when necessary
Requirements:
Must have a proven track record in operational, senior management roles working for production homebuilders, will consider candidates operating at VP level for construction, land, or operations functionsMust be able to demonstrate success across functions such as Land, Sales, Finance & ConstructionMust be a strong leader of peopleKnowledge of fiscal and human resource management techniquesFamiliarity with governmental regulations and compliance requirementsStrong financial analysis, planning, and supervisory skillsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesEffective communication skills, both verbal and writtenGood negotiation skills
