A law firm in Dallas, TX, is seeking an experienced Project Finance Lawyer with 5-8 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will oversee and advise on project finance transactions, with a focus on drafting and negotiating financing documentation.Duties:Draft and negotiate principal financing documentation for project finance transactions.Advise clients on legal matters related to project finance structures and transactions.Conduct legal research and provide analysis on regulatory and contractual issues affecting project finance.Review project documentation, including contracts, permits, and financial statements.Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to ensure compliance with legal requirements and project milestones.Manage due diligence processes related to project financing.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of Texas or eligible for admission via reciprocity.5-8 years of experience in project finance law, preferably with a law firm or financial institution.Proven track record of drafting and negotiating complex financing agreements.Strong understanding of financial and regulatory frameworks impacting project finance transactions.Preferred Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Experience in energy, infrastructure, or real estate project finance is a plus.Familiarity with industry-standard legal software and research tools.Certifications:Certification in project finance or related field (preferred).
