The ideal candidate should be capable of navigating complex transactional documents and have a solid track record in due diligence matters.Duties:
Assist with renewable energy project finance and tax credit transactions.Draft and negotiate intricate transaction documents, such as credit agreements and tax equity documents.Conduct and manage renewable energy project due diligence, reviewing project documents.Collaborate with subject-matter experts to review and finalize transaction documentation.Facilitate the closing of various renewable energy projects.Support long-term strategic initiatives within the Energy Sector.Maintain client relationships by delivering high-quality legal advice in a fast-paced environment.Requirements:
3-5 years of renewable energy transactional experience, particularly in project finance and tax credit transactions.Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex legal documents.Experience managing due diligence processes and reviewing project-related legal documentation.Familiarity with large law firm practices and expectations.Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.Certifications:
Active membership and good standing with the California State Bar.Skills:
Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to handle multiple complex transactions with efficiency.Keen attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.Collaborative and able to work well within a team of legal professionals.Job Location:
