The successful candidate will support senior associates and partners in drafting and negotiating complex commercial transactions and will play a key role in building an exceptional practice in this dynamic field.Duties:Draft, review, and negotiate licensing and collaboration agreements related to life sciences, including Pharma/Biotech/MedTech sectors.Support senior associates and partners in handling life sciences aspects of M&A and other IP-driven transactions.Provide legal analysis and guidance on intellectual property matters relevant to life sciences transactions.Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide strategic legal solutions.Conduct due diligence and prepare documentation related to life sciences transactions.Assist in managing client relationships and ensuring high-quality service delivery.Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments in the life sciences sector.Requirements:2-6 years of experience in life sciences licensing and collaborations, as well as M&A and other IP-driven transactions within the Pharma/Biotech/MedTech space.Demonstrated experience supporting senior associates and partners in complex commercial transactions.Familiarity with intellectual property concepts and licensing practices.Proven track record in drafting and negotiating complex agreements.Currently licensed to practice law in California or New York.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the bar in California or New York.Skills:Strong understanding of life sciences industry dynamics and legal issues.Excellent drafting and negotiation skills for complex agreements.Proficiency in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong client relationships.Company info
