With more than 130 years of financial experience and over 22,000 partners, we serve the world’s most sophisticated clients using leading technology and exceptional service.The Global Regulatory Affairs Office (GRAO) is responsible for overseeing the enhancement of our risk management and controls, remediation of regulatory and audit findings and the administration of regulatory affairs, including establishing a centralized and sustainable connection point for global regulatory communications.The Program Associate- Consultant is a member of the Global Regulatory Program Management team and supports one or more programs within the active portfolio. The primary responsibilities include program tracking, plan update, data collection, deliverable review and packaging, and support of senior Program Managers. The role holder will require high attention to detail, strong organization skills, and adaptability to contribute to the delivery of specific programs. Proven ability to organize information into aggregated reporting and to leverage existing technology and tools to support efficient production is a plus. The consultant should have experience in project management, risk management, or data and technology enabled solution delivery. They should be able to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion and attention to detail.The key responsibilities of the role include:Responsible for performing day to day management of tasks and work product in alignment with the assigned programMaintain clear contemporaneous records of meeting action items and outcomesObtain and produce periodic status reporting in alignment with central program management office expectationsIdentify and maintain RAAID log items in alignment with assigned program, including obtaining clear updates and supporting reporting needsSchedule, monitor attendance and report outcomes of key meetingsManage review and packaging of deliverables once completed by Subject Matter Experts and facilitate signoff review and completionWork with technology and PMO partners to develop repeatable processes which minimize manual data gathering and leverage existing informationMeet established timelines for intake, production, drafting and finalization of materials with limited re-workThe ideal candidate should have a fair amount of the following:A College or University degree and risk management, program management or implementation experience with industry knowledge is required (financial risk, non-financial risk, regulatory and/or compliance)At least two years' experience supporting projects or programsBackground in consulting desired, but not requiredUnderstanding of project timelinesTechnical skills: Outlook, Teams, Microsoft Office 365 suite required (expert with Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, MS Project, Adobe).Self-motivated, highly flexible and adaptable to changeResults orientedStrong attention to detail, listening skills, and ability to synthesize information into clear actionsStrong problem-solving skills, organizational skills and time management skillsWorking with Us:As a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.
