The ideal candidate will have strong legal drafting skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.Duties:Conduct thorough legal research using platforms such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.Draft legal documents including contracts, briefs, and pleadings.Prepare and manage cases in various legal practice areas.Represent clients in court hearings and pretrial meetings.Collaborate with clients, attorneys, and other legal professionals to ensure case success.Participate in legal negotiations, settlements, and mediation efforts.Prepare correspondence and legal documents with precision and clarity.Stay informed on changes in relevant laws and regulations.Assist with discovery practice and trial preparation.Support attorneys with administrative and case management tasks as needed.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.0-1 year of related legal experience preferred.Strong foundation in legal research, drafting, and case management.Familiarity with various areas of law including civil law, mediation, and arbitration.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in the California State Bar.Skills:Proficient in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.Exceptional writing and legal drafting abilities.Strong communication and client-relations skills.Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail.Knowledge of law office procedures and administrative tasks.Familiarity with civil litigation, mediation, arbitration, and criminal law.Job Location:Santa Clarita, CA
