Advisor IT IoT Platform & Solutions

Industrial Control Systems

group based in

Houston, TX, USA.Key Responsibilities:Provide primary support for our Azure and AWS IoT platforms.Assist business customers with IoT troubleshooting and coordinating issue resolution.Develop, maintain, and improve infrastructure as code automation in support of IoT platforms.Research, test, pilot and evaluate new IoT technologies.Participate in the 24/7 ICS on-call rotation schedule several times a year.Manage IoT project activities across business, vendors, and other IT groups and stakeholders.Develop and publish IoT documentation, knowledge articles, standards, best practices, and procedures.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study.Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.Proficiency with SCADA, DCS, or other process control technologies.Strong knowledge of Azure and AWS IoT platforms.Strong knowledge of IoT device Linux-based operating systems.Basic understanding of container technologies (e.g. Docker).Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.Desired Qualifications:Experience working within Agile framework using Azure DevOps.Experience with Python programming.Experience with Terraform programming.Experience with Rockwell PLC and HMI technology.Experience with Cognite Data Fusion platform.
