RGM works across brands like Maybelline, L'Oreal Paris, & Carol's Daughter's to help understand market and consumer dynamics and drive profitable growth. Team members come from varying backgrounds including market research, analytics, finance, and marketing but share a focus on making data-driven and business-informed recommendations.Core ResponsibilitiesWithin the RGM team, this role has project ownership and partners with RGM team category owners to support cross functional stakeholders. Common work can include:Proactively consult with Marketing, Sales, & Finance on strategic business decisions to drive profitable growth
Providing pricing recommendations to stakeholders using pricing methodologies such as Choice-Based Conjoint and Van Westendorp Price Sensitivity MeterDeveloping dashboards and tools to empower stakeholders to make more informed decisionsOwn the creation and presentation of insights to senior executives
Utilize and combine multiple sources of information to help develop a holistic business strategy
Analyzing syndicated data to understand market trends and competitive landscapeAnalyzing promotional spend including Return on Investment (ROI) analysisFinancial modeling to ensure recommendations are beneficial to both the consumer, retailer, and L'Oreal USA
What we're looking for in our future team members :Analytically minded with a focus on solving complex business problems through data analysis and a strong understanding of our internal business strategyAble to determine the right solution and resources needed to address different questionsKnows how to understand how different data is generated and its potential limitationsA strong storyteller who can craft presentations that are focused but thorough and is comfortable presenting to upper level managementAims to build relationships with other teams to further their knowledge and impact within the companyRequired Qualifications:3 - 5 years of experience working in a strategic consulting or business analytics roleCPG industry experience including strong working knowledge of scanner and promotional dataIntermediate Excel skills including Vlookups, IF statements, etc.Educational background in Data Analytics/Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Economics or MarketingPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge/experience with discrete choice modeling and consumer researchBrand P&L experience including financial modelingUnderstanding of market trends and competitive landscape
