Key Responsibilities (Top 5-6) Manages discretionary and required spending and approves and codes invoices for purchases made Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods Plans work force utilization workflow and work pace for maximum efficiency Provides estimates for order completion, materials, supplies, and equipment needs Estimates production times, staffing requirements and related issues for management decisions Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining high standards for food safety, quality, and operational efficiency Position Requirements:
Education and experience preferred: BA or BS in Management or a related field from four-year College or university Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in plant management, preferably in food manufacturing Strong knowledge of food safety and regulatory requirements (FDA, USDA, etc.) Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a large workforce Experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies PCQI and HACCP certified Benefits:
