Key Responsibilities
  • Enforces food safety and sanitation regulations in compliance with FSMA, to ensure that product safety and quality is maintained, understood, and properly executed site wide.
  • Responsible for daily records review, food safety paperwork, product release and retain storage program.
  • Responsible for the effective utilization of QA resources and participates on management teams to provide information or direction on special projects while working cooperatively with other supervisors
  • Responsible for addressing potential food safety hazards and communicates as needed. Work with management and quality assurance staff to resolve any quality and food safety issues.
  • Develop and improve inspection methods and recommend improvements to procedures to ensure that work is completed efficiently. Responsible for properly maintaining quality and sanitation programs.
  • Responsible for customer corrective action reports and questionnaires as assigned.
Position Requirements:
  • Acts as a problem solver and team player.
  • Executes supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsible for planning & monitoring labor efficiently including time and attendance. Coordinate with other departments as needed for training and backup support
  • Responsible for training on SOPs, Safety, Food Safety, GMP's, CCP's, Food Defense, Allergen Control and other training as deemed necessary.
