Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
The position is responsible for performing all assembly operations within the Sub Assembly Work Centers. You will use hand, air, and power tools, along with quality testing equipment.
Responsibilities
Match and fit parts in assemblies and subassemblies per blueprint instructions.
Perform testing operations.
Cross-train in various areas within the Grade 1 classification.
Understand and follow documentation procedures, such as In-Process Check Sheets and Test Logs.
Maintain good attendance.
Essential Skills
Experience with hand, air, and power tools.
Ability to read blueprints, engineering specifications, test specifications, and bills of material.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience with manufacturing processes such as assembly is helpful.
Knowledge of mechanical assembly, machine operation, and packaging line operations.
Experience in related fields such as production, light industry, cashier, and food industry.
