We encourage anyone who shares our values to apply today!We are proud to offer our employees:Apprenticeship and Comprehensive Training ProgramsPaid Holidays Upon HireCompetitive Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceHSA with Employer ContributionPaid Time OffCompany Paid Short-Term Disability & Life InsuranceSafety Bonus ProgramEmployee Stock Ownership ProgramWork Travel IncentiveHoliday BonusAnd so much more!Responsibilities:Responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control within a machine repair shop.Manage and maintain the quality control documentation (travelers) for incoming and outgoing components.Responsible for collaborating with the engineering team in the design of components.Ability to create reverse engineering prints from existing components.Analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement in quality control procedures.Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to maintain consistent quality.Provide training and guidance to machinists and machine repair personnel on quality control procedures, inspection techniques, and best practices in machining.Schedule inspections, audits, and data collection to maintain a smooth workflow.Ensure the resolution of issues during inspection, machining, and vendor processing.On site supplier process reviews and audits: Address customer concerns or quality issues related to deliverables and work closely with customers to ensure prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.Monitor and review current internal and external quality indicators and drive continuous improvement environment.Plan for and ensure the quality of supplied parts through collaborative partnerships within the company and with suppliers.Perform activities related to successful completion of Inspection Reports in travelers.Qualify the weld process and ensure that welds meet high standards and adhere to safety regulations.Responsible for visually assessing and verifying the quality and safety of welded products.Requirements:3 to 5 years of quality control experience in a machine repair settingAbility to use Micrometers, Pi Tape, calipers, Standard Industrial measuring toolsAble to use and understand GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)Skilled in problem solving and analysisCapable of reading and interpreting drawingsUse reverse engineering to identify potential issues with manufactured componentsPreferred:Knowledge and experience using the following software: Veri-surf, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MastercamPrevious experience with machiningCertified Weld InspectorThis job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions, and nothing in this herein restricts managements right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
