The Office of Management Information Systems administers the computer-based management systems across the ODH enterprise. The office is responsible for maintaining ODH computer networks and servers and for the development and implementation of strategies that support the current and future technology needs of the agency. We are seeking experienced Software Development Specialists to work with business personnel to assure requirements are thoroughly defined and approved, develop software applications, and perform system analysis and design. The required technologies are Customer Relationship Manager (Salesforce). These positions will:Independently work with business area personnel to assure requirements are thoroughly defined & approvedDevelop software applications & perform analysis & designCollaborate with Office of Management Information Systems (OMIS) staff on system design reviewsPerform code reviews & ensure agency application development standards are metServe as technical lead, as assigned, working with assigned OMIS staff to identify & document system software requirementsRead, write, extract & report from multiple sources (e.g., databases, file servers, data lake)Identify alternate courses of action pertaining to design & developmentCreate detailed test designs & test plans; coordinate execution of unit & system test scriptsLead development, implementation & monitoring of IT quality assurance standards & testingWrite, review & coordinate documentation to support software development activitiesWhy Work for the State of Ohio
