The IT Project Manager will lead the planning, documentation, and reporting of IT projects across various teams, including GRC/SecOps, Service Desk, Infrastructure, Enterprise Systems, Information & Development, IT Operations, and Acquisition Integrations. This role is pivotal in ensuring that each project has a clearly defined purpose, value, and cost structure, with well-maintained work breakdown structures (WBS) and timelines that outline deliverables, milestones, and associated value metrics. The IT Project Manager will present project status and progress reports at multiple organizational levels, aligning project activities with strategic goals and delivering high-quality insights to drive informed decision-making.Essential Functions

Project Value and Rationale:

Work with stakeholders to define and document the value, purpose, and strategic importance of each project, providing a clear “why” behind initiatives.Cost Analysis:

Develop and maintain accurate cost projections for each project, including both financial costs and resource allocations.Work Breakdown Structure (WBS):

Create and manage detailed WBS for each project, ensuring that tasks, dependencies, and deliverables are clearly defined and tracked.Timeline Management:

Develop comprehensive project timelines that highlight deliverables, milestones, and key checkpoints, incorporating value and cost metrics at relevant points.Project Reporting:

Generate and present project reports that include progress updates, budget tracking, resource utilization, and alignment with strategic goals. Tailor reports for various organizational levels, from team members to executive leadership.Stakeholder Communication:

Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders, ensuring alignment on objectives, timelines, and resource needs.Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities to streamline project management processes, improve documentation quality, reporting accuracy, and efficiency.Risk and Issue Management:

Track project risks and issues, working proactively with teams to develop mitigation strategies and maintain project momentum.Cross-Department Collaboration:

Engage with departments across IT (e.g., GRC/SecOps, Service Desk, Infrastructure) to ensure projects are cohesive and aligned with the organization’s broader objectives.Risk Management:

Identify potential risks that may impact the project's success and develop strategies to mitigate or address these risks.Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of experience in IT project management, ideally within a complex, multi-department environment.Proven track record of developing detailed project documentation, work breakdown structures (WBS), and project reporting.Strong analytical skills and ability to quantify project value, costs, and resource needs.Expertise in project management methodologies and tools, such as MS Project, Jira, ADO or similar platforms.Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.High attention to detail with the ability to maintain organized, accurate documentation.Ability to work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization (leadership, SME, end users, etc.).Excellent organizational awareness, with the ability to identify and collaborate with key influencers to drive success.Strong business/financial acumen and negotiation skills. Strong analytical, problem solving, and qualitative analysis skills.Experience in a distribution and manufacturing environment.Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; PMP or similar project management certification preferred.Physical Demands
