Proven ability in taking and defending depositions and courtroom experience is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in financial services litigation, focusing on commercial real estate, distressed loans, and creditor and lender liability matters.Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and manage discovery processes.Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Appear in court, present evidence, and conduct trials effectively.Perform comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case strategy and development.Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution processes, such as mediation and arbitration.Collaborate with clients and colleagues to devise and implement case strategies.Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.RequirementsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Georgia Bar.Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience or substantial clerkship experience, with a focus on financial services, commercial real estate, and distressed loans.Demonstrated experience in taking and defending depositions and handling courtroom activities.Strong academic credentials and a track record of excellent problem-solving and communication skills.SkillsExpertise in financial services litigation, including commercial real estate and distressed loan matters.Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.Proficiency in managing litigation tasks and courtroom procedures.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to handle complex cases and meet tight deadlines.Collaborative and team-oriented with a focus on client service and strategic case management.
