Join the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Core Services team as a GTM Specialist Solutions Architect!The WWSO Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) team positions AWS as the best place to run workloads associated with Smart Operations and Smart Industrial Machines. This involves creating Go-to-Market plans that highlight how customers can collect, store, contextualize, and act on industrial data at scale. As a solution architect, this position will primarily focus on customers in North America from the Automotive and Manufacturing segment.Key job responsibilities
Gain deep technical competency of the AWS IIoT services end to end.Represent the voice of the customer; collaborate with field and central teams to bring customer feedback to product teams.Provide advanced technical knowledge to your aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges.Own the technical bar for specialist technical artifacts and standards.Collaborate with your GTM colleagues to provide technical insights into GTM strategy.Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, and public-speaking events.Guide and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts aligned to your customers.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years design/implementation/consulting experience of highly technical nature.5+ years management of technical, customer-facing resources.5+ years of technical experience in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Technical depth with AWS services including AWS IoT Device Defender, AWS IoT Analytics, and others.History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers.Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.Strong written and verbal communication skills.AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
