The
Business Development Executive
is responsible for market expansion and penetration in existing markets through new business and new logos, entry into new markets or market segments, and new capability pursuits in existing domains. This is a remote sales position on our Commercial team, who is responsible for selling
Equifax Commercial Business/SMB data solutions .
What you will doIdentify and secure new customersProspect for new leads -- identify and qualify potential clients through various channels such as cold calling, email marketing, networking events, and online researchDrive strong pipeline development and sales executionManage sales pipeline -- maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM softwareNegotiate and close deals -- effectively negotiate contracts and close new business deals that meet or exceed revenue targetsLand and grow new customer revenue across the Equifax solution portfolioDevelop contact network within new customers and facilitate connection to relevant Equifax counterpartsLay early foundation for long-term customer relationshipsIdentify, develop, manage, and close opportunities spanning all Equifax solutions with prospectsComplete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business imperatives and risk, fraud, and marketing strategiesDefine and execute sales strategies that drive profitable growth while delivering meaningful customer valueNetwork to build relationships with economic buyers, decision makers, and influencers in target customersLeverage account, solution, and delivery team resources effectively and at appropriate times to advance opportunitiesLead account strategy motions with cross-functional team to identify sales opportunities tied to company value-addRespond to prospect RFI and RFPs
What experience you needMinimum of 5 years of experience in a net new business sales roleProven track record of sales success, hitting or exceeding KPIs

Equifax is required by law to include a good-faith salary range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. At Equifax, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $83,000 to $105,000. This position is also eligible for our incentive compensation program.
