Flooring Sales Consultant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales Person to join our Domestic Sales team at The Floor Store in Hamilton. This full-time role will involve assisting customers with selecting the perfect flooring solutions for their homes and businesses. As a Sales Person, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional customer service and driving sales to support the overall growth of the business.What you'll be doingProviding outstanding customer service and assistance to clients, helping them navigate our product range and select the best flooring options for their needsDemonstrating product knowledge and guiding customers through the sales processAchieving and exceeding individual sales targetsMaintaining accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer informationCollaborating with the wider team to ensure a seamless customer experienceStaying up-to-date with industry trends and new product developmentsWhat we're looking forProven sales experience, ideally within the flooring industryExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide exceptional customer serviceStrong product knowledge and a passion for interior design and home decorAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet targetsStrong organizational, communication and administrative skillsA positive, friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused attitudeAn all-round Team PlayerMust be able to work 2 rostered Saturdays per monthWhat we offerCompetitive salary and Commission/Bonus structureOngoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skillsA friendly, supportive and collaborative team environment3 Weeks off over the Christmas BreakAbout usThe Floor Store is a leading provider of high-quality flooring solutions in the Waikato region.
