Please note this is an in-person role and we will only consider applicants that can reliably commute to our office.Overview:As a high-performing Project Architect, you will be responsible for the design and management of residential architectural projects, ensuring alignment with client goals, regulatory requirements, and firm standards. You will work closely with clients, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to bring innovative and sustainable design solutions to life. Your expertise in architectural design, project management, and collaboration will be critical to the success of each project.Key Responsibilities:Design Leadership:
Develop and present architectural designs that reflect the client’s vision and comply with local regulations.Lead design discussions, providing feedback and guidance to junior architects and designers.
Project Management:
Oversee all aspects of project development, from conceptual design through construction administration.Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within scope.
Client Engagement:
Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and communicating design solutions clearly.Provide regular updates on project progress, adjusting plans based on client feedback.
Technical Expertise:
Ensure all architectural designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and industry standards.Use Revit, Co-Construct, and Microsoft Teams for architectural design, project documentation, and coordination.
Team Collaboration:
Manage designers and drafters, ensuring they work efficiently toward shared project deadlines.Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers to integrate all project components.Work alongside construction teams to ensure a seamless transition from design to execution.
Sustainability and Innovation:
Integrate sustainable design practices and innovative technologies into architectural solutions.Stay current on industry trends to offer cutting-edge design strategies.
Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in residential architectural design and project management.Licensure: Architect license preferred or actively pursuing licensure.Skills:
Proficient in Revit and other design software.Strong knowledge of building codes and construction standards.Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and work under tight deadlines.
