Schedule:
This is a full-time, hybrid position which will require working from our clinics at times with occasional travel for recruitment or company events.
Human Resources Director Position Summary:
The Human Resources (HR) Director is a key leadership role responsible for developing, implementing, and managing HR strategies that align with the organization’s goals and foster a positive, productive work environment. The HR Director will play a pivotal role in scaling the company from 100 to 200 employees, requiring both operational expertise and an entrepreneurial mindset to drive growth, foster innovation, and create a culture that supports rapid expansion. This role demands strategic leadership in talent acquisition, onboarding, organizational development, and employee engagement while maintaining compliance and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company’s growth trajectory from 100 to 200 employees.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights and guidance on people-related issues that support company growth and scaling.
Foster an entrepreneurial mindset within the HR function, encouraging flexibility, innovation, and creative problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Lead workforce planning, ensuring the organization can meet its talent needs during rapid expansion.
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster an inclusive and scalable workplace culture.
Talent Acquisition & Development
Lead recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent needed for scaling from 100 to 200 employees.
Develop and implement robust training and development programs to support employee growth and leadership development during company expansion.
Manage succession planning to ensure leadership continuity as the organization grows.
Onboarding & Credentialing
Develop and manage a comprehensive onboarding process to ensure smooth integration of new staff, aligning them with company goals and culture.
Oversee the credentialing process for new providers, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.
Work closely with department heads and managers to ensure that all new employees, especially providers, are fully onboarded and credentialed in a timely manner.
Employee Relations & Engagement
Promote a positive and productive work culture by managing employee relations and fostering strong internal communication during periods of change.
Lead initiatives to maintain high levels of employee engagement and retention, particularly as the company doubles in size.
Oversee performance management processes to ensure employees are aligned with organizational goals and prepared for growth.
Compensation & Benefits Management
Design and manage competitive compensation structures and benefits packages that can scale with the company’s growth.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and legal requirements related to employee compensation and benefits during expansion.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA), especially during the transition to a larger workforce.
Oversee the management of employee records and HR-related documentation to ensure scalability.
Lead investigations into employee grievances and disciplinary actions, ensuring fairness and consistency throughout the organization.
HR Metrics & Reporting
Track and analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, employee satisfaction, recruitment metrics) to assess HR effectiveness during periods of rapid growth.
Present regular reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and actionable insights that support scaling initiatives.
HR Systems & Technology
Oversee the implementation and management of HR technologies (e.g., HRIS systems) that are capable of supporting a growing workforce.
Continuously improve HR processes and systems to ensure efficiency as the organization scales.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally in a high-growth environment.
Proven experience leading HR efforts during periods of rapid scaling, preferably moving an organization from 100 to 200 employees or similar.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and organizational development, with an entrepreneurial approach to solving HR challenges.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead HR initiatives that drive business outcomes, especially in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with HRIS systems and MS Office applications.
HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) is highly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
This job operates in a professional office environment and regularly spends long periods sitting and using office equipment and computers. Tasks are repetitive using hands, fingers, and arms, headphones, speaking clearly and listening actively, occasionally lifting 5-10 pounds.
