Our items range from party packages to jewelry, drinkware, travel accessories, and more, all designed to bring smiles and start a party In May of 2024, we joined the Bioworld family, a leading design and distribution company of licensed and private label apparel, headwear, and accessories across all retail channels. Packed Party operates as a standalone brand benefiting from Bioworld’s global capabilities to achieve its goals of brand-building, category expansion, and distribution. We are seeking skilled candidates excited to join this amazing team POSITION OVERVIEW The Director of Marketing at Packed Party will oversee all marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with our brand’s identity while driving consumer engagement and growth. This role requires a strategic leader experienced in consumer insights, brand management, digital marketing, DTC strategies, event marketing, and partnerships. The Director will manage campaigns across multiple channels and oversee brand consistency in all communications. RESPONSIBILITIES: Brand Management: Develop consumer insights to build profiles and shape messaging strategies that resonate with Packed Party’s target audience. Oversee trademarks, patents, and all brand-related intellectual property matters. Lead national brand marketing campaigns and website initiatives, ensuring alignment with both DTC and wholesale strategies. Manage the marketing calendar for DTC and wholesale channels. Shape and implement long-term brand-building initiatives that align with the company’s goals and market positioning. Digital Marketing & Design: Manage the Digital Designer, overseeing the creation and curation of all digital and media assets. Approve all digital ads, ensuring brand consistency and effectiveness. Oversee and refine email, SMS, and digital ad content, including setting campaign success metrics and analyzing performance. Manage the Amazon brand landing page and ensure all digital touchpoints align with brand standards. Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, manage digital assets, and drive promotion planning for Packed Party’s website. Ensure seamless operation of the Shopify platform, overseeing navigation, template customization, and app management. DTC Marketing: Approve ad content and product copy for DTC and retail partners' websites. Schedule email marketing campaigns and coordinate site banners to align with product launches and promotions. Develop SMS and email marketing content, consistently improving engagement metrics. Events & Activations: Lead the coordination and execution of brand events such as pop-ups, speaking engagements, and brand activations. Create KPIs for marketing events, ensuring goals are met and metrics are tracked for future learnings. Drive event planning to align with overall brand marketing goals and customer engagement strategies. KPI’s and Budgeting: Refine and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across channels and activities. Track and report brand performance metrics to senior management. Collaborate with finance to manage marketing metrics and ensure accurate budget forecasting. Loyalty Programs: Oversee the management and optimization of loyalty programs, including the VIP program, ensuring customer engagement and retention. Collaborate with the e-commerce team to drive affiliate program strategy and enhance loyalty program offerings. Partnerships & Collaborations: Work with external partners on collaborations and strategic initiatives that amplify the brand. Negotiate partnership agreements and manage retailer collaborations in conjunction with key stakeholders. Develop and manage strategic influencer partnerships, collaborating with the Social Media Manager to ensure social media efforts align with broader marketing goals. Social Media Management: Oversee the Social Media Manager and ensure consistent brand messaging across all social media platforms. Guide influencer marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with the brand’s image and growth objectives. Finalize social media content calendars, ensuring that plans reflect the brand's voice and drive engagement. Wholesale Support: Manage wholesale marketing initiatives, ensuring catalogs and supporting materials align with brand goals. Support wholesale activities, including tradeshows and other B2B engagements. KEY AREAS OF FOCUS Brand Building: Ensure that Packed Party’s marketing reflects its vibrant, playful brand identity and resonates with its core audience. Shape and execute long-term brand-building initiatives that reflect company values and market positioning. Digital Strategy: Develop and implement a robust digital marketing strategy, utilizing SEO, paid media, and email marketing to drive traffic and conversion. Consumer Insights: Use consumer research and data to understand customer behavior and preferences, driving informed marketing decisions. Events & Activations: Lead event-based marketing campaigns, coordinating activations like pop-ups, brand events, and speaking engagements to drive awareness and engagement. Campaign Management: Oversee marketing campaigns, from conception to execution and analysis, ensuring a cohesive brand message and strong outcomes. Analytics & Metrics: Leverage marketing data to measure performance, refine strategies, and deliver ROI. Track key performance metrics and ensure reporting to senior management. Loyalty Programs: Manage and optimize customer loyalty initiatives, including VIP programs, to drive retention and repeat business. Partnerships: Oversee affiliate partnerships, ensuring alignment with e-commerce and retail strategies. Negotiate agreements and manage retailer collaborations. Proven leadership in brand management, digital marketing, and event marketing. Experience in DTC marketing, social media strategy, and partnerships management. Strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to manage budgets and track marketing performance. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage matrixed relationships. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 10 years of marketing leadership experience BUSINESS HOURS Hours of operation: Monday-Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm; Overnight travel is required as needed
