HR Coordinator POSITION OVERVIEW The Human Resource Coordinator specializes in employee engagement, compliance, and safety and plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's HR functions. This role involves implementing programs that enhance employee skills and career growth, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and promoting a safe and positive work environment. The HR Coordinator collaborates with various departments to foster a productive and compliant workplace. Requirements PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: Human Resources Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, employee engagement, and health and wellness programs. Coordinates recruiting within the guidelines of company policy and government regulations. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Respond to and advise employees regarding general HR matters and concerns. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems, Paylocity preferred but not required. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Current AZ DPS Level 1 fingerprint clearance. Preferred experience in non-profit, healthcare, or behavioral health environments. Possession of SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification is desirable.
