Registered Nurse (Part-Time) - Employee HealthWho You Are:Catholic Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse with strong clinical skills, ideally with a background in emergency, ICU, or acute care settings. You are committed to fostering a safe and healthy work environment for employees, volunteers, and medical staff. Your attention to detail, grasp of compliance standards, and ability to handle confidential information set you apart. You possess knowledge of occupational health, including Workers Compensation Law and OSHA regulations, and excel in engaging with a diverse population ranging from adolescents to geriatrics.What You'll Do:Conduct pre-placement health screenings and coordinate physical exams for new hires based on job requirements.Administer TB tests, vaccinations, and interpret results to ensure compliance.Oversee and manage urine drug screening processes, ensuring proper policy adherence.Provide first aid and assess employees returning from medical leave to verify their fitness for duty.Evaluate workplace injuries, document incidents, and facilitate necessary follow-up care.Support the Temporary Alternative Duty program by identifying eligible employees and ensuring proper documentation.Counsel employees on exposure issues and coordinate follow-up treatments in collaboration with Infection Control.Perform Fit Testing and confidential lab draws as needed.Represent the organization at Workers Compensation hearings when required.Maintain current knowledge of state and federal regulations pertinent to employee health.Qualifications What You'll Bring: Graduate of an approved nursing school. At least five years of general nursing experience, with a minimum of one year in emergency, ICU, or acute care. Experience in occupational/employee health preferred. Active NH Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Familiarity with NH Workers Compensation Law, OSHA regulations, and infection control. Strong assessment and organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to engage with a diverse range of employees.
